Lucky's Bakehouse

Another breakfast spot we went to is Lucky's Bakehouse, which is a local breakfast and coffee shop spot next to Lucky's Grocery Store. Jennifer Mesinger, the co-founder of Lucky's Bakehouse always believed that the best way to show love for people was baking for them. When Mesinger met Bo Sharon they shared the dream of creating a local bakery for their community. With the help of Rachel Davis, Mesinger and Sharon were able to achieve their dream and founded Lucky's Bakehouse in 2012.

Location: 3990 Broadway

Vibe:

- Cozy

- Dog-Friendly

- Usually not filled and short lines

- Pleasant

Options: As this is a bakery it does not have a traditional menu and all of the items are displayed. Lucky's Bakehouse has a wide variety of pastries and sweets. Lucky's also makes incredible cakes for birthday's, so if one of your kids or you have a birthday coming up, this is the place to go. This time I got a strawberry frosting coated donut, which was incredible. My sister also got a donut, and my mom got a pastry, both of which got good reviews.

Don't Miss Item: The Fruit tarts were not for sale the past time I visited Lucky's Bakehouse, but previously I have tasted them and they are amazing! If you ever see it I would recommend you to try it as it is my favorite item.

Service and Taste: The service was good, and there were many people ready to help. The servers were very patient, the only uniforms that I saw were cooking aprons. The taste is most definitely sweet, so if you are trying to eat healthy I'd say this isn't the place for you.

Dog Treats

Have you been to Lucky's Bakehouse? What is your favorite item from here? Do you like sweet or savory more? I'd love to hear your responses in a comment! Thank you!
