For our third breakfast outing we went to Moe's Broadway Bagel, known simply by locals as "Moe's." Founded by John and Patty Sherman, Moe's goal is to bring the "perfect East Coast bagel" to the Rocky Mountains. Moe's began as a single store on Broadway in Boulder has now become a Boulder/Denver sensation.

Menu and options:  Moe's has an extensive selection of Bagels.  There are all the classics such as poppy, sesame, onion, plain, and everything along with some specialty choices including chocolate chip, asiago, tomato cheddar, cinnamon sugar, and granola. Cream cheese also comes in a variety of full fat and lowfat flavors including plain, scallion, vegetable, lox, artichoke parmesan, olive pimento and maple walnut. 

Along with their classic selections, Moe's carries Breakfast Sandwiches   with your choice of egg, cheese, and meat. The Manhattan is a lox and onion sandwich just like you would get in NYC! And finally, locals love the Spicy Buff which includes egg, bacon, jalapeno cream cheese and avocado. They also carry an extensive selection of Beverages including Natalie's brand fresh juices which are all-natural and have no artificial flavors added. 

Don't Miss Items: Every Thursday, the staff at Moe's bakes challah bread from scratch so that it's available fresh on Fridays. Challah is a traditional Jewish bread made with yeast, flower, eggs and milk. The dough is braided and consumed during Friday night Shabbat. Give it a try -- you don't have to celebrate Shabbat to enjoy it and the leftovers make a mean Saturday morning french toast.

Service and Taste: Counter service is fast and customer friendly. If you ask which bagels are the freshest, they'll let you know and you might just change your order so that you can eat the softest and warmest of the selection.
